When and where is the TB Watson Whisky Festival taking place?
Saturday 29th November 2025 at Easterbrook Hall, The Crichton, Bankend Road, Dumfries, DG1 4TA, UK.
How do I purchase tickets, and what ticket types are available?
You can buy tickets via the Buy Tickets button on this page, or in person at TB Watson, 15 English Street, Dumfries, DG1 2SR.
What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes a festival bag on arrival with a branded tasting glass (please keep it safe; replacements are available at cost), plus a festival brochure and pen.
Is there an age restriction?
This event is strictly 18+. ID may be requested on entry if there’s any doubt.
Can I refund or transfer my ticket?
All festival tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What is the “Golden Dram” and how can I take part?
Attendees vote for their favourite dram on the day and drop their choice into the Golden Dram box. The distillery with the most votes wins the trophy, and one lucky voter wins 2 free tickets to next year’s festival.
How do I book a spot in the Masterclass with Ian Macleod Distillers?
Masterclass tickets go on sale in the Masterclass section of this page—first to our Whisky Club Members, then to the public.
What are the festival hours?
Doors open at 12:00 PM and the last pour is at 4:30 PM on the day.
Are food and non-whisky drinks available?
Yes—our on-site cafeteria serves food, and we showcase a variety of spirits (gin, vodka, rum, tequila, brandy) alongside whisky.
Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?
Yes—Easterbrook Hall is fully accessible. There’s a ramp on the right-hand side of the building when facing the entrance.
Where can I park, and what transport options are nearby?
Free parking is available in the lot at the front of Easterbrook Hall. Local buses and taxis also serve The Crichton campus.
Is photography or videography allowed?
Yes—feel free to photograph and film during the festival.
