Founded in 1819, the original Clynelish distillery was reborn as Brora in the late 1960s, with a new Clynelish facility opening adjacent to it. Known for producing a distinctly waxy style of malt, due to its unique distillation process and the serpentine shape of its condensers, Clynelish whiskies are rich in character, balancing maritime saltiness with fruit and a hint of peat.
