Fettercairn Vanguard is a modern expression from the Vanguard series, created to explore new flavour possibilities while showcasing the distillery’s tropical house style. Produced at Fettercairn Distillery, founded in 1824, it reflects the distillery’s innovative approach to distillation, including its distinctive cooling ring process. Vanguard emphasises ripe fruit, gentle sweetness and balance, resulting in an approachable yet characterful Highland single malt.

Nose
Honeyed sweetness with ripe tropical fruits, led by pineapple and mango, alongside soft floral notes and light pastry spice.
Palate
Silky and vibrant, with grilled pineapple, dried apricot and creamy vanilla. Gentle oak spice builds without overpowering the fruit.
Finish
Medium length, warm and rounded, with lingering citrus sweetness, soft spice and a touch of vanilla.
