LOCH LOMOND OPEN COURSE 2025
Crafted to celebrate the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. This 22 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in 2002 at Loch Lomond, using whisky exclusively from their unique Straight Neck pot stills. Matured in American Oak & finished in Spanish Oak, resulting in an elegant single malt with notes of toffee, pineapple, warming oak spice and soft smoke.
The Open Course Collection Single Malt Whisky has been crafted by Michael Henry, Master Blender, starting its maturation journey in American Oak casks for over 21 years and then is finished for six months in the finest Virgin Spanish oak, specifically toasted by their own cooperage team. This Spanish oak finish adds a layer of complexity to their signature style, creating a whisky that has notes of toffee, cinnamon and toasted oak.
Bottled at 46.7%, non-chill filtered with natural colour to keep things just as nature intended.
