Infrequent Flyers Braeval 14 Year Old 2010 Cask #127 is a single-cask Speyside malt bottled by Alistair Walker Whisky Co. for the Infrequent Flyers range, which champions one-off natural-presentation releases. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024, this 14-year-old was finished in an Oloroso sherry puncheon and released at cask strength (58.9% ABV), non-chill filtered and natural colour, with a generous outturn of 653 bottles in Batch 16 for sherry-forward Speyside fans.

Nose

Sugared macadamia nuts, stewed sultanas and a hint of cocoa sit over a toasted coconut base, giving a rich and inviting sherried profile.

Palate

Sweet, slightly dry and nutty, with dark chocolate-coated walnuts, Demerara sugar, dates and caramel, plus a tingly spice note with allspice and clove.

Finish

Long and warming, with lingering nutty sherry sweetness, dark chocolate, baking spice and a gently drying oak edge.
