Annandale Distillery

Annandale Distillery, resurrected from the annals of history, now stands as a testament to the revival of craft whisky in Scotland's Lowlands. With a focus on single cask Scotch, it melds tradition with modernity.

Founded in 1836 by George Donald, Annandale Distillery had lain dormant for nearly a century before being brought back to life in 2007 by Teresa Church and David Thomson. This revival was driven by a passion for creating high-quality, peated and unpeated single malts that reflect the rich heritage of the region. Nestled in the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway, the distillery emphasises local sourcing and traditional methods, while incorporating contemporary practices to enhance the whisky's character and flavour.
