Glenkinchie Distillery
Situated in the rolling farmland of East Lothian, Glenkinchie Distillery is one of the few Lowland distilleries, often referred to as "The Edinburgh Malt." Its whiskies are celebrated for their light, floral character, making them an essential part of the Classic Malts selection.
Established in 1825, Glenkinchie underwent significant modernisation in the late 19th century, which has helped it continue its legacy into the modern era. The distillery's two large pot stills contribute to its gentle, aromatic spirit, which is matured primarily in American oak casks, imparting a soft, smooth character with hints of sweet vanilla and fresh flowers. Glenkinchie's commitment to the Lowland style offers a distinctively crisp and accessible entry point to the world of Scotch whisky.
