BARBADILLO PASTORA MANZANILLA SHERRY
Barbadillo Manzanilla Pasada En Rama De La Pastora
This Manzanilla has been aged for 8 years before bottling, classifying it as a 'Pasada' style. The extended ageing in this style enhances complexity, body, and introduces a hint of oxidation as the veil of βflorβ begins to thin. It is also an 'En Rama' or 'raw' Manzanilla, meaning the wine has been bottled directly from the cask without fining or filtration to retain its body and freshness. "Pastora," or "shepherdess," was the first Manzanilla brand launched by Barbadillo in 1827.
**Tasting Notes**: Pastora is a classic βPasadaβ Manzanilla, showcasing a golden hue with prominent flavours of pungent yeast, nuts, and chamomile. It is remarkably smooth on the palate.
**Serving Suggestions**: Perfectly paired with shellfish, hams, grilled vegetables, and all things salty. Serve slightly chilled for optimal enjoyment.
