ASBACH BRANDY
Asbach Brandy is a German brandy (often referred to as "Weinbrand") that has been produced since 1892 by Asbach GmbH in RΓΌdesheim am Rhein, Germany. It was originally created by Hugo Asbach, who sought to craft a German spirit similar to French Cognac. Asbach is made from carefully selected wines, which are distilled and then aged in small oak barrels for several years. This aging process imparts a smooth, rich character to the brandy.
Asbach Brandy is known for its complex flavour profile, featuring notes of dried fruits, vanilla, oak, and caramel. It is enjoyed both neat and in cocktails, and it is also popular as an accompaniment to coffee or in traditional German coffee drinks like "RΓΌdesheimer Kaffee." Asbach offers various expressions, including the classic Asbach Uralt and older, more refined bottlings like Asbach 15 Year Old.
