MHV REGIMENTAL LBV 2017 PORT
Production begins with hand-picking the grapes at their optimal ripeness. They are then destemmed, crushed, and carefully macerated to extract their colour, tannins, and aromas. The fermentation process occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruit's natural characteristics. Once the desired level of sweetness is achieved, grape brandy is added to create the final fortified wine. This Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is aged in oak casks for 4 to 6 years, allowing it to develop its depth, complexity, and richness before being bottled.
MHV Regimental LBV Port is best enjoyed with a variety of rich desserts, such as dark chocolate torte, berry compote, or a cheese platter featuring mature cheddar or blue cheeses. It is equally satisfying when served as an after-dinner drink. For optimal enjoyment, serve this port at a temperature between 16 and 18ΒΊC. Once opened, it can be enjoyed over several weeks, provided it is stored upright in a cool, dark place.
