This Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of fruit from across the Holdaway family's eight vineyards. They are fully accredited with Sustainable Winegrowing NZ, and use methods such as cover crops, compost applications, and biological controls to actively regenerate soils and vineyard ecosystems. They employ the latest recycling sprayer technology and precision applications based on detailed soil mapping. The estate is substantially carbon negative thanks to a rewilding project on their 2,300 hectare Mount Impey property.

The 2023 growing season was characterised by La Nina conditions. Warm flowering conditions and regular summer rainfall meant rigorous canopy and yield management was crucial to bring the vines and yields into balance, producing fruit of exceptional character.
