Five Kingdoms’ take on a traditional English bitter, Wee McAsh is smooth, balanced and reassuringly easy to enjoy. A varied malt bill brings gentle caramel, toasted grain and light roasted notes, while East Kent Goldings and Saaz hops add an earthy, subtly spicy bitterness. Named after the miniature dachshund featured in local artist Amanda Sunderland’s children’s books, it is a characterful local beer with plenty of traditional charm.
