PELLEGRINO UNCLE JOSEPH MARSALA SUPERIORE
Pellegrino Uncle Joseph Marsala is a classic Sicilian fortified wine, crafted in honour of Joseph, an English businessman who joined his Uncle Benjamin in Sicily in 1819 to produce and distribute Marsala wine. The wine embodies a rich heritage and is made from the grape Nero D'Avola. Aged in oak casks, it has developed a deep complexity and a distinct character, typical of quality Marsala.
It is versatile and can be enjoyed as an aperitif, paired with desserts such as pastries, fruit tarts, and chocolate, or used to add depth to sauces in savoury dishes. Best served slightly chilled for optimal flavour.
