Founded in 1898 by John Duff, Benriach stood silent for several periods throughout its history before being revived in the 21st century with a new vision. Today, it is renowned for its use of a wide variety of cask types for maturation, including wine, rum, sherry, and bourbon, which impart unique flavours and complexities to the whisky. This creative approach, combined with the traditional Speyside character, makes Benriach's whiskies intriguingly diverse and rewarding, from peated to unpeated, classic to unconventional.
