Metaxa Ouzo

Metaxa Ouzo is a type of ouzo, which is a traditional Greek anise-flavored spirit. Ouzo is one of Greece's most well-known alcoholic beverages and is often enjoyed as an aperitif or alongside traditional Greek meze (small dishes).

When serving Metaxa Ouzo, it is typically diluted with water, which causes a milky-white color to appear due to the anise essential oils becoming soluble in water.
