Over the past few years, the Lochlea seasonal small batch releases have showcased the signature Lochlea style in four different ways. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in with exactly what is happening at that time of year. Ploughing Edition (Third Crop) is the fourth in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of their Seasonal trilogy. They have matured their signature Lochlea spirit in Ex-Islay Barrels, and the liquid is one year older than the 2023 Edition. The powerful peated casks and extra ageing combine to produce their smokiest whisky released to date!
