It's lighter and more vibrant than its 16-year-old sibling but still delivers the robust peat smoke and maritime character that Lagavulin is famous for. This expression highlights the distillery's skill in crafting whiskies that are both intensely flavoured and beautifully balanced, even at a younger age.

Nose

Finish
Exquisite; pure, remarkably lengthy, and filled with smoky allure. Even with the addition of water, the whisky remains warm, velvety, and still evokes smokiness, although the intensity has eased somewhat.
