GLASGOW 1770 ORIGINAL CASK STRENGTH BATCH #2
Glasgow 1770 The Original Cask Strength Batch 02 is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from The Glasgow Distillery, released in November 2024 following the sell-out success of Batch 01. This expression is crafted from unpeated, double-distilled malted barley and matured initially in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period in heavily charred virgin American white oak casks sourced from Kelvin Cooperage.
Bottled at a robust 59.5% ABV, Batch 02 is limited to 750 bottles. The whisky showcases a vibrant fruity profile, featuring prominent notes of zesty Seville orange marmalade, dried apricot, toffee apple, poached pear, and toasted pineapple. These flavours are complemented by rich dark fruits and a luscious vanilla finish.
