The 2023 Chenin Blanc from MMAD Vineyard reflects the unique terroir of Blewitt Springs, South Australia. Sourced from old vines planted in 1964, this wine showcases the vineyard's sandy soils and cooling sea breezes, contributing to its distinctive character. The 2023 vintage benefited from a late and cool growing season, resulting in smaller, flavourful bunches with lifted aromatics. A combination of crushed and whole bunch pressing, followed by fermentation in concrete and large-format old oak, imparts texture and complexity to the wine.

This Chenin Blanc possesses the concentration and structure to develop fine tertiary characters over the next 15 years, making it a candidate for extended cellaring.
