Ninefold Cask Aged Rum is a premium Scottish rum produced by Ninefold Distillery in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. This rum is aged for a minimum of 1.5 years in American oak barrels, which impart rich flavours and complexity to the spirit. The cask aging process enhances the natural characteristics of the rum, adding layers of depth to its profile.
The rum is known for its smooth, sweet flavour profile with tasting notes of butterscotch, caramel, toffee, chocolate, oak, vanilla, and banana. These flavours are a result of the interaction between the rum and the oak barrels over time, creating a balanced and rich sipping experience.
