Named after the distinctive native cattle found throughout the region, Black Galloway is a dark and robust porter with plenty of traditional character. Deeply roasted barley and chocolate malts create rich flavours of cocoa, coffee and toasted grain, while a gentle sweetness helps to keep the beer smooth and balanced. Dark, warming and satisfying without becoming too heavy, it is an excellent choice for colder evenings or alongside a hearty meal.
