FILEY BAY SHERRY CASK RESERVE #5
Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve #5 is the fifth annual limited-edition release in Spirit of Yorkshire’s Sherry Cask Reserve series. It’s an English single malt whisky matured in a marriage of ex-Moscatel and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, combining bright creaminess with rich dried fruit character. Only 2,000 bottles were produced, and it’s designed as a decadent autumn/winter expression that showcases richer, sherried whisky styles alongside the distillery’s coastal Yorkshire character.

Nose
Zesty dried orange and cranberry notes with stewed apples and pears, baking spice, and toffee — aromatic, inviting and gently fruity.
Palate
Spiced apple and chocolate-dipped orange lead into treacle toffee, fruit crumble and rich, dark brown sugar with marmalade, currants and festive spice character.
Finish
Warming and indulgent, with lingering dark chocolate, festive biscuits, sherried fruit and a smooth, long finish.
