A characterful 5-year-old blended Scotch created from 42% peated blended malt and 58% 12-year-old North British grain whisky, bottled at 57.1% ABV. Limited to 618 bottles, Peat smoke on Gorgie combines youthful smoky intensity with the sweetness and texture of mature grain whisky. Expect plenty of earthy peat, orchard fruit and toasted malt, backed by vanilla, citrus and savoury coastal notes. Adding a little water brings even more of the smoke and maritime character to the fore.
