The Signature Series is a four-part limited-edition collection that highlights the variety and character of Arran Single Malts, reflecting the core values they hold dear. This exclusive series includes four distinct bottlings, each handpicked and approved by Lochranza Distillery Manager, Stewart Bowman.
Peating level of the whisky in the bottle is 42ppm
The whisky in this bottling was initially filled into Bourbon Barrels in 2012, where it matured for nearly five and a half years. In September 2018, it was transferred to Koval Quarter Casks for an additional five and a half years of maturation. Only a limited number of these Quarter Casks were filled and they and haven't used them again, making them a rare part of the collection.

Nose
Rich and smoky, with bold aromas of charred oak, toasted marshmallows, and subtle peat smoke. Underneath, notes of caramel, vanilla, and baked apples provide a sweet contrast.
Palate
Full-bodied and robust, with flavours of smoky oak, sweet malt, and caramelised sugar. Hints of spices like cinnamon and cloves mingle with orchard fruits and a touch of peat, creating a balanced yet bold profile.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering smoky notes, sweet vanilla, and a gentle spiciness. The smoky character fades slowly, leaving a touch of oak and caramel sweetness on the palate.
