The third release by Glaschu Spirits Co. is an unnamed highland spirit, leaving many to wonder about its identity.
However, the company is well aware of its origin:
It was distilled right at the border between the Scottish highland and lowland whisky regions, at the foot of Dumgoyne.
This 11 year old Glengoyne is an ex-bourbon single cask that they split into two first-fill Pedro Ximénez quarter casks. Glaschu Spirits Co. allowed these two quarters to mature for a full eight months before blending them back together for this release.

Nose
Rich dates give away the sherry finish, Werther's Originals, leather, liquorice and tobacco.
Palate
Crushed walnuts, followed by a malty Guinness-like note, falling into a sweeter end note of caramel and honey.
Finish
A rich warming finish that sticks to your gums, dark chocolate and honey.
