KILKERRAN HEAVILY PEATED BATCH 13 58.6%
Kilkerran Single Malt is produced at the historic Campbeltown distillery, Glengyle, originally founded by the Mitchell family and owned by the J&A Mitchell group since its re-build and resumption of production in 2004.
A departure from their typically lightly peated single malt, Kilkerran Heavily Peated is released twice per year at cask strength and around 45PPM. The maturation is predominantly Bourbon Casks with a slight addition of some Sherry Casks to give this a richer flavour. Batch 13 is bottled at 58.6%.

Nose
Creamy butterscotch and notes of banana fritters and elderflower kick off this heavily peated dram.
Palate
The peat smoke on the palate is complemented by notes of honeydew melon and Iberico ham.
Finish
The smoke continues in the finish along with notes of verbena and honeycomb.
