BRUICHLADDICH ISLAY BARLEY 2014
Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2014 is an 8-year-old, unpeated Islay single malt bottled at 50% ABV. It is made using barley grown solely on Islay, sourced from eight local farms — Coull, Rockside, Island, Mulindry, Cruach, Dunlossit, Craigens and Sunderland — all within 11 miles of the distillery. Matured entirely on Islay, it uses a combination of first-fill bourbon casks, sherry butts and second-fill wine casks. The result is a cereal-led whisky, with apricot, peach, fresh grass, tropical fruit and a subtle maritime edge. It is non-chill filtered and colouring free.
