Distilled in 2012 and matured for 13 years in a hogshead, this cask-strength Inchgower was bottled at 58.3% ABV with an outturn of just 258 bottles. It's a wonderfully spirit-driven expression, bringing together Inchgower's characteristic cereal, mineral and slightly coastal qualities with ripe stone fruit and honeyed sweetness. Creamy malt, citrus and a subtle savoury edge make this a particularly interesting dram, with the relatively quiet cask allowing the distillery character plenty of room to develop.
