Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie is the distillery’s signature unpeated Islay single malt, now bottled as a 10-year-old at 50% ABV. Made from 100% Scottish barley, it is trickle distilled, matured on Islay, non-chill filtered and colouring free. The whisky is designed to show Bruichladdich’s floral, elegant house style rather than the heavily peated character often associated with Islay. It is barley-forward, with sweet oak, ripe green fruits, brown sugar, citrus and a light maritime edge, giving a fresh but rounded style with good texture and natural weight.
