LINDORES ABBEY FRIAR JOHN COR CHAPTER III
In 1494, Friar John Cor was commissioned by King James IV to make 'aqua vitae' at Lindores Abbey - the first written record of Scotch Whisky. Over five centuries later, Lindores honour his legacy with an exceptional single malt series that redefines craftsmanship.
Carefully matured in a trio of exceptional, hand selected casks, Friar John Cor Chapter III combines the best attributes of ex-Bourbon casks, Amontillado sherry and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, to produce this truly delightful dram. This symphony of casks created a whisky that is elegant, complex, and deeply satisfying - the perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
