Bodegones del Sur Vineyard Select Albariño 2024 is a distinguished white wine from Uruguay's Maldonado region, crafted by the esteemed Deicas family. Sourced from vineyards located approximately 10 miles from the coast, the unique terroir features a blend of pebbly stones, clay, and limestone soils, contributing to the wine's distinctive mineral character. This Albariño undergoes fermentation with wild yeast at low temperatures and is aged on lees in oak foudres, enhancing its complexity and texture.
Nose
Intense aromas of white fruits, notably pears and apples, harmoniously combined with notes of vanilla and a subtle hint of curry spice, leading to a citrus finish reminiscent of bitter orange peel.

Vibrant acidity with a silky texture, showcasing flavours of ripe orchard fruits complemented by saline and mineral undertones, reflecting the coastal influence of the vineyard.
